 The Very Beginning of Spinelli Transport & Logistics Ltd. is in the sixties when Ivo Spinelli sets up an artisan company working in the sector of transport on roads. At the end of the eighties Spinelli’s son Domenico enters the company. Domenico Spinelli assists to a boost in transport demand and decides to institute a new artisan company working on the same sector. A further boost in the activity comes between 1994/1998, dates in which a new development program is planned paying attention to a wider and more complete range of service offered to the market.
The development program becomes real tanks to a large scale investment. A new head office take place, with wide parking areas and buildings. The number of customers grow with proportional returns on investments. At this time Spinelli’s company diversifies the activity giving to customers a wide range of options going from the simple freight to the warehousing and delivering of goods.
The institution of a new corporation becomes a necessity during the 2000.
The boost in sales requires a solid financial base, adequate capitalization and solid corporate structure. The 3rd genuary 2000, Spinelli son and father institute the Spinelli transport & Logistic Ltd. resulting from the recapitalization of the two former artisans companies.
Spinelli Transport & Logistics Ltd. goes through the quantitative development, improving the management tools at the same time. The constant care in managing resources, implementation of quality procedures, professional trainings, software dedicated to the warehousing automation, meticulous in/out traffic check, end up by satisfying high level requirements of quality certifications ISO 9002 and VISION 2000, renewed during October 2003.

 Market globalization, products durability reduction, energy crisis and, above all, international financial tensions have stressed the needs for materials availability and higher levels of effectiveness in logistics.
Nowadays goods transportation have a more critical and complex function compared to the past. Today, transport is no longer intended as a movement of goods from one point to another. Companies intend transport as a service connected and integrated to other services regarding: warehousing management, handling goods, stocking, preparation of orders, etc.

Nowadays, Spinelli Transport and Logistics Ltd. besides common services as punctuality, swiftness, good rate between quality and price, offers an area of 28.000 square metres, whose sheltered area is 10.000 sq. m. wide. In adjunction, the intermodal center enlarge the Spinelli’s operative area with other 8.000 sheltered sq. m. and 12.000 sq. m. in the open. Soon, in Torin a new area of 6.000 sq. m is to become operative; giving to the company a total operative area of 54.000 sq. m.
Spinelli Ltd. is certainly one of the first companies in Europe for reliability and experience in the field of warehousing management and logistics services.
Nowadays, Spinelli transport & logistics Ltd. relies on a fleet made of 190 automotive vehicles in addition to 60 affiliated
hauliers.
Spinelli ltd. provides freights on the CEE area: well known destinations are France, Spain, Germany and BeNeLux; with specific experience in countries as United Kindom and Poland, where constant services are given to the most important Italian companies trading in those areas.
Spinelli ltd. has implemented a control and tracking management system of its vehicles, which will be strengthened soon. Investments have been already planned in satellite detectors sending telemetric data straightaway to the mainframe. The new planned system is oriented both to the customer service and to security. Customers will have the chance to track their freights and check vehicles availability over the CEE countries.
